INTRODUCTION - Operations Cell

The Operations Cell is involved in ASCC’s key business process of executing the projects on time, within the approved budget, in accordance with the Quality Management System (QMS) and to the satisfaction of the Client/ Consultant.

ACTIVITIES:
Provide support towards implementation of the QMS within the Company.
Contributing effectively towards Management Review Meetings and related follow up.
Raising suggestions for improving the QMS.
Initiate, implement, monitor and report on the status of related Quality Objectives.
Effective communication as defined.
Check / finalize the Baseline Budget.
Attending Construction Kick Off Meetings.
Effective and timely Project mobilization, ensuring that the project team is well briefed.
Ensure that the project close out is well-planned and monitored.
Ensure effective electromechanical co-ordination as defined.
Effective control over quality records and quality documentation.
Raise, control and approve RFIs (including those raised by subcontractors).
Prepare and monitor material/shop drawing submittals. Raise FAFs for minor adjustment/variations to drawings, where necessary.
Timely action related to As Built drawings.
Input, review, approval, implementation, updating and control of the PQP.
Effective handling of client complaints (internal/external) related to the project.
Attending internal audits, communicate results, and required action on internal audit reports.
Effective follow up on the status of corrective actions related to the project.
Ensure the necessary control over measuring and monitoring devices.
Input, review, approval and implementation of ITPs, Method Statements, QC checklist etc.
Effective Contract Review.
Effective project planning & scheduling and execution in line with the baseline / target programme and budgets.
Effective project reporting (progress, Cost at Completion etc.)
Effective management and control of subcontractors.
Efficient raising/follow up of Client payment demands.
Effective material / services planning and requisitioning.
Effective Supplier / Subcontractor (internal /external)performance evaluation/rating.
Effective implementation of all aspects of project Inventory control.
Letter of Guarantee / Letter of Credit / Insurance awareness and implementation as necessary.
All aspects of training related to project staff and labor.
Co-ordinate with the relevant authorities and Admin for getting necessary clearances.
Evaluate performance of newly joined skilled laborers and staff.
Setting/attainment of monthly project revenue targets.
Conducting daily meetings with site staff to organize work in line with daily/weekly/monthly targets.
Processing Purchase Requisitions.
Floating Enquiries.
Receiving Quotations & Comparison of Bid Summary.
Negotiations & Releasing Work Order, LOC / LOI / SCA / SA.
Vendor Data Management.
Procurement of Materials, Sub Contracts & Services.
