INTRODUCTION - HSE Cell

HSE Cell is one of the most important Cells in the Company as it handles issues related to the health and safety aspects of all employees – staff and labourers. It also plays an important role in creating awareness about conservation of environment and ensures that the operations of the Company are conducted in such a manner as to minimize any detriment to the environment.

As safety and quality are the prime concerns of the organization, the senior Cell personnel report directly to the Top Management.
ACTIVITIES:
Preparation of HSE Plan specific to the project.
Carry out regular safety inspections at sites.
Carry out Risk Assessment for Generic and Specific Activities.
Raise HSE observation reports, as and when required.
Preparation of Fire Point and Emergency Evacuation Plan.
Carry out Fire Drills / Emergency Drills.
Preparation of Emergency Response Procedures.
Conduct Safety Audits including sub-contractors.
Initiate and follow up on the status of corrective and preventive actions.
Prepare, approve and ensure implementation of all HSE procedures.
Investigate and raise Incident / Accident / Near Miss reports.
Carry out the monthly inspection, as per the QMS procedure manual and QMS forms manual.
Conduct HSE induction and training sessions.
Conduct in-house HSE meetings including sub-contractors.
Attend Client and Consultant meetings in relation to HSE activities.
   
Achievements:
The Company was rated as Top Scorer, among all the Contractors, in HSE audits conducted by JAFZA, during the construction of Russian City (Package 10) at International City.
